Artist Palette Cookies

Another hobby I enjoy besides creating art is baking! My favorite cookies to make are these palette shaped ones pictured above. Depending on the time of the year I will either bake sugar cookies or gingerbread cookies that can then be decorated with different colors of frosting. I make these all the time at work whenever we are holding a big event. I cannot wait to bake these for my students one day and let them decorate their artist palettes themselves. My sister has a gluten allergy so I have plenty of gluten free recipes I can bake instead if any of my students have one too.
